10-Day Arunachal Mechuka Bike Tour Summary:
Experience the stunning beauty of Mechuka, the "Switzerland of the East," on a 10-day bike tour starting from Guwahati. Ride through North Lakhimpur, Aalo, and scenic valleys to reach Mechuka, exploring its culture, rural life, and environmental awareness activities. Enjoy bonfires, village interactions, and a Bihu dance at a Mising village. The tour includes bikes, vehicle support, and overnight stays across Assam and Arunachal. Ends with an airport drop from Guwahati.
Day wise route plan: Upto 8 riders
Day 1:
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and 2 vehicles will pick the team. Bikes will be ready at the stay locations. Overnight halt in Guwahati.
Day 2:
At 6 30 am we ride to North Lakhimpur, in Assam with 2 meals halt enroute, (8 hrs ride) for the first night’s halt.
Day 3:
Lakhimpur to Alo. (10 hrs ride) with 2 meals halt enroute, for the second night’s halt.
Day 4:
Alo to Menchuka (8hrs) with 2 meals halt enroute, for the fourth night’s halt.
Day 5:
Today we experience the majestic valley views of Menchuka, it’s culture, traditions and rural settings. Overnight halt.
Day 6:
We explore Mechuka, with a halt at a local village school to speak on the importance of waste management and caring for the environment and river systems. Relax in the evening around bonfires.
Day 7:
Mechuka to Alo. Overnight halt.
Day 8:
Alo to North Lakhimpur via Jonai 9 hrs ride(traditional Mising village). At the Lakhimpur resort we will have the traditional Bihu dance and interaction with the locals.
Day 9:
Lakhimpur to Guwahati. End of ride.
Day 10: After breakfast, the vehicles will drop the team to the airport.
NOTE: Per Bike a refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 6000/- is mandatory and
will be deducted in case of any external damages to the vehicle. This
will be assessed by the Mechanic at the end of the Ride.
